RPL simplified

Recognition of Prior Learning made clearer.

Your experience can be valuable evidence. Scenius helps you understand the pathway, prepare your information and connect with the right partner RTO for formal assessment.

RPL in plain English

It is not about repeating what you already know.

RPL gives an RTO a structured way to assess the relevant skills and knowledge you have developed through real work and previous learning. It is a formal process—not a shortcut—and outcomes are determined by the relevant RTO.

A clear, supported process

From experience to your next step.

Every pathway is different, but understanding the process should not be difficult.

What is Recognition of Prior Learning?

Will my experience guarantee a qualification?

No. The RTO considers the evidence you provide against its assessment requirements. It may request further evidence or advise that additional training or assessment is needed.

Do I need every document before I contact Scenius?

No. A conversation is the best place to start. We can help you understand the kinds of evidence that may be useful for the pathway you are considering.
