Scenius respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website, contact us or engage with our pathway guidance, evidence support and referral assistance services.

01 Our role

Scenius helps experienced professionals explore Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and qualification pathways. We may provide information, pathway guidance, evidence preparation support and referrals to suitable education providers.

Scenius is not a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Training, assessment, competency decisions and qualification outcomes are managed by the relevant RTO.

02 Information we may collect

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:

  • contact and identity details, such as your name, email address, phone number, address and date of birth;
  • employment, skills and experience information, including your resume, job duties, references, licences, work samples, photos or videos;
  • education and training records, including qualifications, certificates, transcripts and statements of attainment;
  • communications with us, including enquiries, emails, messages, feedback and support requests;
  • payment and transaction information where relevant; and
  • website and technical information, including IP address, browser, device data, cookies and website usage information.

We only collect sensitive information, such as health or disability information, where it is reasonably necessary and with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law.

03 How we collect information

We may collect information directly from you through our website, forms, email, phone, social media, meetings and document uploads. We may also receive information from people or organisations you authorise, such as employers, referees, agents, partner RTOs or service providers.

04 How we use your information

We may use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide guidance and support, understand your goals, help organise evidence, make referrals, communicate with you, process payments, improve our website and services, protect our business and comply with legal obligations.

05 Sharing information

We may share information with partner RTOs and other providers where you request or authorise a referral, or where it is reasonably necessary to provide our services. Those organisations manage information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

We may also share information with trusted service providers that support our operations, such as IT, cloud storage, email, communications, payment and professional advisory providers. We do not sell personal information.
